Jack Dinerstein
Jack is the CEO and Partner of each division in the Dinerstein Companies. With thirty-five years of real estate experience, Jack oversees the company’s development, construction, and management divisions. Currently, the company has over $1 billion under construction and development, predominantly in Central Florida, Southern California and Texas. Jack is a member of the Apartment Association Hall of Fame, a past vice-president of the National Apartment Association and the treasurer of the Houston Division of the World President’s Organization.

V. T. “Tom” Caltagirone, III
Tom is a Partner as well as Chief Operating Officer of all Dinerstein operating companies and properties. As a Certified Public Accountant, he brings over thirty years of financial and accounting experience to the Dinerstein Companies and is ultimately responsible for all the company’s legal and accounting activities. During his tenure, he has structured over $2.5 billion in partnerships and joint ventures and sold over $3 billion worth of apartment and condominium product.

T.H. “Ted” Dinerstein
Ted is a Partner as well as Chairman of all Dinerstein Companies and properties. A co-founder of The Dinerstein Companies in 1955, Ted continues to oversee all construction activity and management company policies for the company. He is a life director and member of the National Association of Home Builders, as well as past President of the Greater Builders Association. He was elected to the National Housing Center Hall of Fame and has been named Builder of the Year. A Papal Citation and the Torch of Liberty Award represent only a small fraction of the awards for his nearly four decades of business and civic contribution.

Brian Dinerstein
Brian is a Partner as well as President of all Dinerstein operating companies and properties.  He is responsible for generating all new business including market and site selection, capital structure, project design and development. Brian is a frequent speaker and panelist for student housing and multifamily apartments on both a local and national level. Prior to working for the Dinerstein Companies, he worked in Business Development at Internet Capital Group. Brian graduated from Vanderbilt University with Honors

John Caltagirone
John is a Partner as well as Chief Investment Officer of all Dinerstein operating companies and properties. John’s primary responsibilities include all property dispositions and financing activities. In addition, John oversees all company operations, apartment lease-ups, and mixed-use properties. John is a member of the National Multi Housing Council’s Board of Directors. Before joining The Dinerstein Companies, John worked at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments in Dallas, Texas. John graduated from the University of Texas, College of Business.

Brad Dinerstein 
Brad is a Partner as well as Executive Vice President of the company’s construction divisions. Brad manages the scheduling, design and completion of all Dinerstein construction properties as well as oversees all field operations during the course of construction. In addition to being a licensed contractor and certified builder in the states of California and Florida, Brad is a LEED AP with the US Green Building Council. Prior to joining The Dinerstein Companies, Brad worked in the construction management department of Atlanta-based Perennial Properties. Brad is a graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.

 

Executives

 

Claude Arnold
Claude is the President of the Dinerstein Companies construction division and is responsible for the pre-development, costing and completion of all Dinerstein units. In Claude’s thirty-five plus years with the company, he has built over 30,000 apartments, 3,000 condominiums and 31,000 student housing beds.

Mike Brown
Mike is the Chief Financial Officer of all Dinerstein operating companies and properties. He has over twenty-three years of experience, including public accounting and corporate financial positions. Mike is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael F. Dalke
Mike is the Director of the Dinerstein Companies’ Information Technology Department. Mike brings over thirty years experience in the field of Management and Information Technology. He is a member of the information technology division of the National Multi-Housing Council. Mike graduated from the University of Houston.

Mark Foraker
Mark is currently the President of Apartment Management, responsible for the daily operations of The Dinerstein Companies' Conventional and Student Multi-Family Assets. Mark started his career in Multi-Family in 1994 with LA based Oakwood Realty Group, leaving them in 2000 as an Acquisitions Manager. Prior to joining Dinerstein, Mark worked for Crescent Heights as a Senior Project Manager responsible for the management, conversion and sale of over 1,000 condominium apartment units in Texas and Massachusetts. From 2004 through 2011, Mark operated the Condominium Marketing and Sales Division of Dinerstein Companies as the Senior Vice President. Mark graduated from UCLA with a BS in History and Political Science.

Josh Vasbinder
Josh is the West Coast Partner for the Dinerstein Companies. Based in Los Angeles, his primary responsibilities include identifying, negotiating and acquiring development opportunities throughout California. Prior to joining the Dinerstein Companies, Josh ran Grubb & Ellis’ land division in Southern California. Between 2001 and 2007, he was directly involved in the sale of over $150 million of land.
